Warm welcome to Bluebell Montessori School!
Our school is based in Wembley, in a beautiful white children’s house with amazing surroundings.
Bluebell Montessori School welcomes children from the age of two up to the age of five years old, we are a truly Montessori school applying and teaching using the Montessori Method. Our doors are open from 8am to 6pm Mondays to Thursdays, and 8am to 5pm Fridays.
We strongly believe that each child is individual so therefore we love to help each child that is in our care to achieve their full potential, to feed their curiosity, find answers to their questions, gain independence, self-esteem and confidence by providing a well prepared environment, both indoor and outdoor.
By offering passionate and qualified experienced Montessori Directresses that understand and follow the child in his/her quest of discovering the World around them, supporting the active learning child, trust the child, build up a positive relationship.
Our Montessori classroom is designed with the child’s need in mind, we understand the importance of the environment in the child’s education process so therefore we offer child centred and concrete activities, child-size furniture, classroom equipped with complete set of Montessori materials that gives birth to opportunities for exploration, investigation, problem solving and at the same time offering children freedom of choice with responsibility. Our Montessori classroom provides real-life experiences by having in the environment real-life objects for children to use, children gain skills for life.
Children are encouraged to choose the activity according to their interest and learn at their own peace, developing the required skill by themselves leading to independence, self-esteem and confidence. Children learn about respect, responsibility, making good choices, how things work and why, to develop problem solving skills and communication skills, social skills and leadership skills.
And most important they learn about the World around themselves, preparing them not only for school after the nursery years but for life.
” Education is a natural process carried out by the human individual and is acquired not by listening to words, but by experiences in the environment’’
